Yangon – Bagan – Mandalay – Sagain – Inle Lake – Ngapali – Yangon
Day 1: Arrive Yangon
Arrive at Yangon International Airport, you will be welcomed and be transferred to the hotel in Yangon. Take a rest at hotel for a while and you can go for a walk nearby around the historic city; Yangon. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon
Yangon is the most lively and commercial city in Myanmar. Explore the popular tour attractions; one of those is the colossal reclining Buddha of Chauk Htat Gyi Pagoda. Then, you take a stroll in the park at Kandawgyi Lake. Continue to the Ancient Botahtaung Pagoda and go shopping at famous Scott Market for bargain. In the evening, the most significant buddhasim site in town; Shwedagon Pagoda for glittering and glamorous scenery. Overnight in Yangon.
Day 3: Yangon – Bagan
A short morning flight to Bagan. About 2,200 ancient temples and pagodas survived from the former earthquake. Then, explore the archaeological sites of wonderful Bagan and see the breathtaking sunset view from the the top of Shwesandaw Pagoda. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 4: Bagan
In the morning, a short cruise to Tant Kyi Taung Pagoda which located on a hill on the west of the Irrawaddy River. Continue to Manuha Temple; a small square shaped building and Myingabar Village. There are many ancient temple adorned with well-preserved paintings. You may also shop lots of beautiful handicrafts and lacquers in there. Overnight in Bagan.
Day 5: Bagan – Mandalay
A relaxing river cruise to Mandalay in the morning. You could observe the local way of life by watching the small villages along the Irrawaddy River. Arrive in Mandalay late afternoon. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 6: Mandalay – Amarapura – Sagain – Inwa
Mandalay is the last royal city of Myanmar Kingdom and second busiest one in Myanmar. In the morning, visit the wonderful Amarapura monasteries; dating back to 1783. Then, stroll along the U Bein Bridge; the longest teakwood bridge in the world. Next, continue to Sagain; where there are many impressive stupas scattered on its hill and on to Inwa with highlights such as “Leaning tower of Ava” and the graceful teakwood monastery Bagayar Kyaung. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 7: Mandalay – Pyin Oo Lwin
This morning, a short drive to Pyin Oo Lwin; a former British Colonial Hill Station. The British general founded the town and in there the beautiful Botanical Gardens that was built by Turkish prisoners during the First World War. Then, visit the hilltop of Naung Kan Gyi Payar where the whole town can be viewed. Arrive back to Mandalay in the late afternoon. Overnight in Mandalay.
Day 8: Mandalay – Inle Lake
Fly to Heho; the gateway to Inle Lake and a short drive to reach the lake. Take the boat ride across the lake and observe extraordinary one-legged rowing style of the lake. View many floating gardens filled with fruits and vegetables. Then, relax by the water and explore on your own. Overnight in Inle Lake.
Day 9: Inle Lake – Indein
Curise to Indein nestled on the bank of the lakes. The village is famous for its 16th century stupas as well its handicrafts. Watch the creating Buddha images by the powder of dried flowers and handmade Burmese Cigars. Overnight in Inle Lake.
Day 10: Inle Lake – Ngapali Beach
Drive to Heho and fly to Ngapali. Relax for a few days in exquisite beach on the Bay of Bengal.
Day 11: Ngapali
Rent the bicycle and visit the tremendous small villages near beach.
Day 12: Ngapali
Hire a boat to visit one of the islands or venture out into the countryside and meet the local people.
Day 13: Ngapali
It’s your last day to relax under the tree on beach drinking coconut water.
Day 14: Ngapali – Yangon
Fly back to Yangon for your onwards travel.
